Muktinath ABC Trekking is a complete blend of people and landscapes of Annapurna region walking through partial Annapurna Circuit trails cultural beauty and South Annapurna Base Camp splendid vista of stunning peaks. It is the experience with a variety of landscapes and encounter of various faces also includes warm dip on natural Hotspring and delicious Apple Pie during the journey and of course, the shy Himalayan giants will always be soothing the spirit of adventure.
Muktinath to Annapurna Base Camp trekking is a quite fascinating journey to witness an array of the high Himalayas from many vantage points in different shapes from a different direction. And the sunset view can be impressive to observe in places like Jomsom – with golden rays spilled over Mt. Dhaulagiri and barren Tibetan landscapes whereas ABC serves colorful light on clustered mountain range, just like vivid dramatic themes. It is fit for any travelers with a moderate level of fitness and it is truly a walk onto nature’s paradise learning about cultural jewels of the country.
Muktinath to ABC trek starts with a scenic flight to Jomsom and five hours walk to the sacred temple of both Hindu and Buddhist– Muktinath. Next day’s morning visit this holy temple amaze you with legendary ever-burning flame (believed to be ignited by God Brahma himself who is believed to be the creator of Universe in Hinduism) and also grant a marvelous view of lower Mustang region and stunning Mt. Dhaulagiri range.
After beautiful morning, this day become more exciting on the way down as we will visit many old monasteries at Kagbeni village; make a quick walk to Tiri village to feel the first step to Historical Upper Mustang Trekking trail and then continue for overnight towards Marpha village – another historical Buddhist heritage site also popular as Apple Capital of Nepal. After we stroll around the streets of Marpha, we will try local Apple Pie and local Apple Brandy (if you like). We will take uneven bus/jeep drive to natural hot-spring (avoiding road walk) of Tatopani and dip ourselves to warm to relax our bones before ascending whole day tomorrow to Ghorepani.
We climb through beautiful rhododendron forest to join famous Annapurna Base Camp Trekking route at Ghorepani and hike to Poon Hill (3210m) on the next morning for sunrise and panoramic view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Annapurna and their complete range with several others beautiful +6000m and +7000m peaks. The trail passes through the sub-tropical calm forest towards Tadapani and Choomrong village and continues following Modi River until it becomes treeless dry landscapes again at Deurali (3300m). Calm sound of nature refresh the mood and put effort to reach the sanctuary of Annapurnas.
Our venture will be rewarded with awesome sunset over Mt. Fishtail and breathtaking sunrise over whole Annapurna range and after gathering what you need on your camera, we retrace our path to Choomrong and another hot-spring at Jhinu to relax before we drive to the City of Lake - Pokhara.

Standard itinerary and route plans are typically designed considering the average level of fitness of travelers and level of altitude gain on the trek (and multiple other factors) which can be modified as per the interest, time and budget plan of travelers.
There is always a room for customization of the given standard itinerary if it does not meet your way of interest and then please pass your opinion. You may want to stay in Kathmandu by yourself or maybe do sightseeing around by yourself; we will give you more information to do it by yourself if you ask us.
