Nepal is a well-gifted country in terms of nature and culture. She has one of the unique climate and topography in the world ranging from lowest 59m elevation to highest 8848m in just approx. 150km/93miles distance from southern sub-tropical region to northern Arctic Himalayas on a total stretch of approx 800km/497miles from east to west.

You can also enjoy the cultural dance and shows performed by the native Tharu people of that region. Bardia National Park lies in western part of the country and the largest and most undisturbed protected area covering around 70 percent of the park with alluvial grasslands and subtropical moist deciduous forest. It is home to several endangered species rhinoceros, wild elephant, swamp deer, dolphins and especially Royal Bengal Tiger. There are so far 839 species of flora, 642 species of faunas, 23 reptile & amphibians, 53 mammals and 125 species of fish has been recorded.  There is also well-organized tour are programmed for two to four or more days covering jungle excursion activities, jungle walk, jeep drive etc. and it is very popular for witnessing many Tigers during the trip.

There is a total of 20 Protected Areas including 10 National Parks, 6 Conservation Areas, 3 Wildlife Reserves and 1 Hunting Reserve. Additionally, there are 9 Ramsar Sites –  a wetland site designated of international importance under Ramsar Convention, UNESCO.
